Our Aims

FSOQ will represent the Sri Lankan community within the local, state and federal governments and will effectively reach out and communicate with the wider Australian Sri Lankan communities in their welfare and representations.

FSOQ will function as an apex body representing the Sri Lankan community organisations in Queensland to further cultural, educational, social, welfare and economic interests of member organisations.

FSOQ will be the representative to liaise with the Sri Lankan Government where necessary, either directly or through Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Australia, representing the local community in Queensland.

FSOQ will engage in major welfare projects for Sri Lanka and Australia, when situation demands, with the help of our communities in contributing our best to help, while engaging with the coordinators of both countries.
